Where to buy chicken balls.

Does anyone know where to buy Chinese food style chicken balls that you can make at home? (Preferably not expensive.)

Superstore used to have a PC brand version that wasn’t quite the same as you’d get in a restaurant, but still pretty good with some sweet and sour sauce on them.

I haven’t seen them there in a while, and haven’t had any luck at Walmart or any of the other grocery stores I’ve been to lately.

If anyone has a good, easy recipe to make them at home, that would also be welcome. (Yes I know I can google it, but some recipe sites have fake good reviews on things that don’t turn out at all.)

  1. Tried to buy the PC brand ones today but they have a recall on them. They are good though. Hopefully they will be on the shelves soon.

  2. Personally I just go in and talk to the manager at the restaurant or ask to set up a time you can speak to the boss whenever I want something like from a chip stand or something that I can’t find anywhere else I asked him if they can order me a big some won’t some will and you just pre-pay it and then they call you when it’s there it’s a risk you have to take pre paying but it’s not like it’s $100 or anyting

  3. Giant Tiger has some I tried that PC brand that you’re talking about and I find the ones I Giant Tiger they’re a lot better I think they’re in a red box they’re not the real chicken balls from a restaurant but they taste pretty close to it or they have the little tiny Chinese boxes you can get like rice and other stuff they have one with chicken balls but it’s like 799 and you only get like six chicken balls

  4. If you go into a Chinese restaurant Like Son More Kings buffet or the one downtown and you told them that you want to purchase they’re kind of chicken balls but like frozen sometimes they’ll order you an extra bag if you prepay

  5. Make them. Its not too hard and taste better imo

  6. They might sell them at wholesale club. They sell things like eggrolls.

    1 cup all-purpose flour
    2 teaspoons baking powder
    1 pinch salt
    1 teaspoon sesame oil
1/2 cup water, or more if needed
    vegetable oil for frying
Precook your chicken. Then before dipping it in batter lightly sprinkle cornstarch on it . That helps the batter stick.. deep fry

Way better to make your own, just figure how to make the batter and cube your chicken and cook it. That way you can even add different ingredients inside as well to your liking 🙂
