What Happened to All the 2-Story Homes in Sudbury?
What happened to all the 2 story homes in Sudbury? Doing some window shopping at homes in Sudbury and it seems like anytime a 2 story home is listed on the market, 9 times outta 10 it’s listed as an “investment” where someone has converted the top floor into another property.
Such a shame, 2 stories are a great way to get more sqft and more yard out of a lot for growing families and I loved all the 2 stories that I grew up in. It would be amazing to have a family in another one and I don’t want to be a possible landlord because I view it as an exploitative practice.
Sudbury should build dense and walkable neighborhoods of 2 story homes with stipulations that they can’t be converted to apartments. I would love to live in a neighborhood like Riverdale in Toronto or Little Ukraine on Chicago without having to pay the costs of a metropolitan area.
It’s not the cities job to build your home… It’s YOURS.
Why dont you go live in Toronto or Chicago then? I love liberals they flee the once beautiful, now shit holes that they have created to bring their same ideology, mentality and votes to the next city/province/state and repeat the process.
Either they disappeared out of your price range or they’ve been converted to 5 unit appartments with paper thin walls and definitely not up to code.
