Same Child with Lice at Cyril Varney!

Attention parents of Cyril Varney..

There is a young girl in my child’s class who keeps returning back to school with Lice. How do I know? Because this child keeps missing school then returning and missing more.

Please remind your children about the dangers of sharing items and sitting too close to other children. Luckily my child hasn’t caught anything.

I wish you all luck and hope no one else gets stuck with it. This child’s parents need to get rid of the lice once and for all! So upsetting.

I add tea tree oil to my kids shampoo as a prevention method and it’s works well so far

  2. Scott Carter says:

Please remind yourself of the dangers of your children becoming the same pretentious douchebag that you are.

  3. Karry Sz says:

    You are an asshole.

  4. Misty Smith says:

Adding tea tree oil to shampoo can help deter lice.

  5. when my girls were young …..i put their hair up in ponytails and got them to pick out a fav summer hat and wear it…..even thou they are not suppose to wear a hat in class i insisted and then they stopped bugging my girls to take their hat off….and i educated them ….do not share hats….any hair stuff like eleastics head bands brushes combs

  6. Honestly… where do you think the child your talking about got them, from someone else probably, as it is quite common at this time of year. Be careful what you have to say, what goes around, comes around. 🙂

  7. Cindy Lawson says:

Wow. I know many reason a child can miss frequently and most are not Lice. That is a big presumption. Hopefully the child is not battling a disease like Childhood Cancer where you miss alot of school off and on.

  8. It happens everywhere. Can’t really blame one kid.

  9. Why did this site allow this person too put the child’s name she’s obviously under 18

  10. and you are putting this on social media because??? what exactly was your intent? perhaps you should use real names instead of hiding behind a screen, that woulda been more helpful if that was your intent, that way, parents can do the necessary precautions for the specific class, Cyril varney does send letters home …or wait..???unless your talking about me and my kids because my child has missed so much school for being sick? LOL my gawd the things people will jump to post.

  11. Pete Murphy says:

To the parents of Cryril Varney , why don’t you consult with a lawyer and have this dick head that runs ” shoutout Sudbury ” a lesson !
You have crossed the line !

  12. Hey just an FYI adults get it too so if your child has it you may likely get it to

  13. To prevent i use tea tree in shampoo and keep hair up with hairspray seems to work here knock.on wood

  14. My oldest caught it twice and her hair is long. So we’ve buying her tree tea oil shampoo to prevent this.

  15. Dangers? Hardly lol

  16. What an ignorant person for making such assumptions! I hope the parents give her at least a cold shoulder

  17. So don’t let your kid sit close to other kids ? That won’t prevent lice it’ll just guarantee that your child will never have any friends. Call the lice squad, when I was younger we tried everything to get rid of them but nothing worked. One visit from them and I’ve never had it since.

  18. Sara VanLooy says:

Did Donald Trump write this? So uncalled for.

  19. Andie Cerson says:

Your reason for the child missing school and then returning is ridiculous.
Due to my children having to travel for various family affairs and such, especially with the holidays upon us, their attendance has been a little scattered for the passed two weeks or so. You don’t know a child’s circumstances and can’t spy on a child’s attendance records to seem lice worth babbling on over social media!
Not to mention, if your child hasn’t had it, what is your problem? You want a cookie or something?

    • That’s what I was thinking lol, this kid could have a medical condition or there could be so many other reasons

    • I was honestly just about to post this. I have 2 special needs children who have a lot of medical appointments most of my oldest son’s medical trips are out in ottawa. This post is just ignorant

    • Andie Cerson says:

I’m just so surprised that someone would feel the need to shame an individual or a family based on their child!!
Lice happen!! I had very thick, long hair as a child and had them 3 times but my mother refused to cut my hair and tediously worked hard to clear them. We lived a healthy, happy life in the country in a very ocd clean home.
Even if the child had them, is shaming them a way of justifying your own parenting or something? I’m missing something! We should teach our children to keep hats and hairbrushes to themselves but I’ve also taught my daughter NOT to make fun of a child IF it happens and explained to her what lice are. She hasn’t had problems yet with the encounter but it can be very embarrassing for a child to undergo!!
But medical, family, etc – the reasons are endless!! Instead of monitoring another child’s attendance, focus on your own child and teach them how to be understanding adults down the road!!

  20. Varney sent home a letter from my son’s class a couple of weeks ago about a case and tips on how to prevent it from spreading. Pretty sure that you didn’t need to post here everything is under control or being worked on. There’s worse things to worry about such as hand foot and mouth disease or Norwalk or scarlet fever. Just saying

  21. The poster is not intelligent, nor has empathy to get off spotted to do the proper thing..

  22. Tracy Baker says:

With this colder temp and being the weekend. Put pillows and mattress outside. I put about 20 drops of tea tree oil into a bottle of shampoo and conditioner. I also make sure they use some hair product like hairspray. I have one little girl who they absolutely love. I know i sure would have appreciated the help of another understanding parent to assist me in the battle. However Im not sure if your intent is malicious or not. Kids are cruel and you just handed them more ammunition. Get off spotted and put your time and effort in helping this CHILD out instead of outing her.

  23. lice in the fall is natural, I don’t think there one person/kid that didn’t get them at one time or another, maybe your the carrier?? Sad sad post

  24. Della Rose says:

Instead of naming the child and embarrassing that family why don’t you offer to help by cleaning something for them or buying the lice shampoo…have you ever thought maybe they can’t afford it right now?? Or maybe they don’t know that they have to clean literally everything in the house to prevent lice from returning ….so before you judge offer to help

  25. Megan Payne says:

This is a shitty thing to post.

  26. A few little drops of tea tree oil helps keep them away. My kids school has notices sent home all the time not once have they brought any home
It also helps when you have a spray bottle of water with some in it to spray on their coats hats and mitts since all their belongings are kept so close together.

    • There have been a few cases in her class. 3 since Sept I believe. It’s not always sharing things though. It could be from anyone. Those things attach to everything.

  27. If you are really concerned, why don’t you anonymously pay for this child to go to a lice salon, so that professionals can help? Surely the offer can be made through the teacher; I’m sure it will get more accomplished than posting it on social media.

  28. Lice is not just for grade school Lassale had a few cases. Most people take care of it quietly and quickly. Lice like clean hair it happens to a lot of people. You can get it just by trying on a sweater someone else just tried on. All parents should have lice shampoo in the house. To keep their family’s protected. I always have it on hand. When my kids where little I use to treat their hair once a month with tee tree oil.

  29. Every school and daycare has lice outbreaks, this has nothing to do with being ghetto.

  30. put a little bit of tea tree oil through your child’s hair in the morning before school or add a few drops to a spray bottle that has water in it or add drops in your detangle spray . head lice don’t like it

  31. How about going to the school with your concern. Putting it on Spotted is not going to help this child.

  32. Jason Allard says:

Unreal poor kid … go talk to the parents you coward ..instead of bashing the kids on here . Lowlife cock sucker

  33. This should not be allowed…to post a child’s name on social media. What a shame to both the poster and whomever allowed this to be posted.

  34. Kayla Bisson says:

Just an FYI lice like clean hair so if that kids getting it and yours isn’t……

    • That’s awesome! !!! My kid have so much hair…I wash it no more than once or twice a week for this very reason! My oldest used to wash her hair everyday in grade 7 and got lice big time….went through it for 6 hours taking them out one by one…it would take 10 hrs for the last 2….would be impossible to get rid of…so darn right not gonna keep the hair super clean!!! And it’s worked so far thank the Lord!!!

    • Lmao^ love how you just killed it with your honesty

  35. You called out a young child by name… you are a special kind of twat. A million other ways to handle it but you chose an anonymous post on FB… you’re a fucking goof

  36. I hope you are not shaming this child. Some kids are more susceptible to lice than others especially those with a higher body temperature and the cleaner their hair the better lice like them. Tea tree oil helps somewhat as well as making sure the second dose of lice treatment is applied.

    • In grade 2 for almost the entire school year, i was continously sent home for lice. I would spend hours every damn day getting my hair washed with the special lice shampoo and having my mom pick through my hair with that annoying comb till my neck hurt! Once it was all gone I went back to school just to be sent right back home to go through the entire process all over again. My beautiful long hair was then chopped off to an ugly mushroom cut in attempts to rid the nasty buggers. But nope I still kept getting them. Finally my mom got very frustrated and put mayonaise in my hair over night. Next morning the tub was filled with the nasty bugs and I NEVER got lice again after that.
It was a nightmare and we had no idea why I kept getting them but no one else in our household did.
