Needing info

needing info- i have a cat with FIV, i’m noticing flakes of white particles all over his fur, my floors are clean, so it cannot be dirt/dust. should i be concerned. it does say on the medical pamphlet that FIV can cause skin complications, my cat also has allergies. i’m a little stressed out about this, any info would be appreciated.

Sounds like a normal case of dry skin !

You can get oil at petstore to drizzle on their food, works great in winter for dry skin

If it’s dry in your house, and winter usually is, that would most likely be what’s causing the flakes. My cat is healthy and has flakes only in winter but it’s really dry and the vet said it’s nothing to worry about it. Hope it’s the same for your cat..
