My business will be going elsewhere

Why shop local when the local business is hurting their employees? Rogers Valu Mart in Dowling has hired a bunch of part-time employees and cut the hours of all of their previous employees, some of whom had been working full time hours for almost all of Covid and never having been identified to Loblaws as full time.

It’s a slap in the face to every single employee there and an especially hard slap after they worked through all of Covid. I’d like to know how Loblaws and Roger’s Valu Mart get away with this every time. My business will be going elsewhere.

Why shop local when many small locally owned places, especially businesses that started during the pandemic, are only there for cover as a drug dealing operation. The money goes from your wallet, up the business owner’s nose and into the hands of criminal gangs. People need to ask more questions, opening a business is not cheap and most businesses don’t turn a profit for the first couple years, meanwhile dumb chunguses are opening them left right and center and no one bats an eye. Pretty obvious who is on drugs when they start talking or you see how they act.
