Investment Help

I am a young single male. I became a Homeowner last year and I am looking to start investing. I don’t have a lot of dispensable income but I was hoping for some advice of who I should go see to invest and grow my money. I wasn’t sure if I should just invest with my bank (CIBC) or use another method.

Any leads with reasons why I should select a certain person or company would be appreciated.

Thanks so much.

Open a TFSA and link it to a trading account and buy your own stocks. Just do some research on what you would like to buy. It’s really simple and their are lots of ETF’s you can look into, dividend stocks ,mutual funds, it doesn’t take much to learn. TFSA is tax free on capital gains !

If you can’t afford to lose it, don’t be investing it.
