Independent Student newspaper out in British Columbia- The Peak

To clarify, there are many students who are taking the initiative to demonstrate their solidarity with the Wet`suwet`en crisis. In this article, it is regarding university students out in British Columbia.

The word “unique” is quite relevant to what has been occurring. And the following quote really resonated with my personal truths:

“I’m hearing it from people who have been on the front lines their whole lives, that this is different [ . . . ] because the settler population is taking interest in our lives and our livelihoods and our water and our health, the health of our Earth. And we as Indigenous people are the custodians of this land.”

To think, from way across here, this message has traveled. Amazing. And it is nationwide. Presently bordering worldwide. Imagine, some of us care about all of these noted aspects.

Keep it up!! So many are behind you. So many more have yet to step out into this unknown territory.

Healthy land, healthy people.

Healthy people, healthy land. Healthy people, happy world.

We are one.

This action was done IN SOLIDARITY & in support of the Wet`suwet`en. But you would know that if you had read the article. Keep your racist rhetoric to yourself
