Facebook corona virus rant

I am practicing social distancing when I need to get things and isolation the rest of the time. My rant is about all the people on my Facebook feed that are telling everyone to stay at home. It is very condescending and hypocritical too. Some people need to be out to get essential supplies. By saying that you notice that the Home Depot is packed or wherever else you visit, you are showing that you are not home yourself.

Why are you at these places if no one should be out? Or people that they see people having playdates or visitors? How are you seeing this if you are minding your own self-isolation?

My point is that yes this is serious and people should stay in. No question but the rest of us should just be mindful that sometimes there are legit reasons to be out. Yes there are jerks that are giving everyone a bad name by hoarding and go out for fun, but we can only change our own behaviour- not trying to shame others.

I know this might come off as shaming- but I am hoping that the message comes across to stop posting to shame people and just worry about your own health and doing things for yourself.
