Doctoral student looking for participants

I am a Doctoral student in Humanities at Laurentian University, conducting research on how tattooed are used as a positive coping strategy to deal with trauma. I am looking for people who are tattooed to participate in an interview and individuals who are either tattooed or none tattooed to participate in a questionnaire for my study. The interviews take approximately 1 to 3 hours and could be conducted via Zoom/Google Meet/Microsoft Teams. Due to COVID 19 health and safety measures will be complied with at all times. If restrictions are lifted and in-person interviews are possible, masks and hand sanitation will be priority. In the event that restrictions are lifted an appropriate (safe) environment will be discussed with the participant. The interview can be conducted in either English or French. The questionnaire takes approximately 5 minutes to complete, and will be completed via electronic methods (e.g., e-mail). If you are interested in participating or would like more information, please contact me ONLY at my Laurentian University e-mail (NOT via private message): Your participation is greatly appreciated.

At one point in history psychologists assumed mental illness if you had more than one tattoo. They would put one tat down to a drunken episode. Any more and you were wack. That still seems to ring true.
