Are we sure Covid is so new?

My family has been getting pretty darn sick for many flu seasons, and it was more than a cold or flu, but not quite full blown pneumonia. We don’t know for sure what it was. We were told a virus, but let me tell you we sure were sick.
How long do the antibodies for Covid last in your system? I bet if we got tested we will test positive for having had Covid. It’s been around these parts for years. Anyone else agree?
You can pay for a serology test at a private lab if you are really curious
Maybe. If you’ve been exposed to rats or mice or their droppings it is highly possible.
No you fucking idiot. Influenza isn’t a coronavirus and Covid19 is a novel (which means new) coronavirus. This has been meticulously explained numerous times for anyone paying even the slightest attention
