Anyone else do this or am I alone

So I have been dealing with depression. And sometimes I write in my phone just little things . And sometimes I write letter on paper just sorry letters like I’m sorry for what I may have done or thanking people who will be around for my kid when I’m gone . Just in case I ever do anything . Because I sometimes want to just disappear in my sleep and be gone . But I write letter and things because I don’t what the ones I love and love me to know how I feel .

I don’t know, I have tried depression pills and well nothing ever works. And I am the type that doesn’t really want to talk to my family because I don’t want to seem weak or hurt . I want people to see me as being strong but I’m not really strong .

I put a smile on to look the way I want to feel . I am sorry if this triggers anyone no one knows how I feel.

Writing ‘sorry’ letters and stuff in your phone ‘in case you’re gone’ are huge red flags for suicidal behavior. Strong is realizing you need help and starting on the path to get it. Ontario has an online Cognitiive Behavioral Therapy program you may qualify for that nobody knows you are doing but you. Sick Not Weak online website used to have an online support forum. Depression is a beast and is so much more difficult when going through it alone, especially during a pandemic. There is no shame is getting help. You are a warrior and now is the time to fight.

You are not alone, you should try to find a support group or get involved with an activity that you really enjoy. You will find that many people have ups and downs, but assist each other in finding a happy place.

Depression is not the same thing as someone having ups and downs. Stop spreading your false information Brock. Messages like this are harmful to people because it assumes someone can just snap out of it. Depression is a medical condition, not just a sad or off day here and there. Minimizing depression the way you are just makes people feel more alone and more suicidal. Stop

Did that make you feel like the man your father said you would never amount too? No matter what Brock writes you fools are all over it. I see nothing wrong with Brocks response to this post. Being brutally honest doesn’t make someone wrong or a bad person and I’d say I agree with a good 8 out of 10 comments Brock makes. Truth hurts.

Well then you are also sadly ignorantly uninformed about depression.
